Dive In festival 2021

24/09/2021

We are looking back on 2 beautiful days in which we welcomed diverse and energising speakers. You may not have been able to attend (all) sessions but would like to watch or listen to one or more sessions again. During a walk or in a traffic jam, for instance, or in your comfortable chair? So, let's recap the event first.

Wednesday
On Wednesday, Fi Herder provided an interactive inspiration session about your impact as a leader and how you can strengthen the qualities you possess to increase your impact. She also introduced the WIFS survey on female leadership which we will roll out further in the coming months. More on this soon!

Thursday
On the second day, we broadcast live from Rotterdam, with Elsemieke Havenga as chairman of the day, talking to Marianne Thieme about how she and the Dutch Party for the Animals started the movement to put sustainability and animal welfare on the political agenda. What did she encounter and how did she achieve her result?

Next, Merel van Vroonhoven took over and she walked us through the course of her career, what it is like being one of the first female directors to act in a predominantly male world. And how this led her to her move into education. She also wrote her first book "The Step" about this.

Our final guests were Faisal Setoe and Ugur Pekdemir talking about how they take their role in creating a more sustainable and diverse way of leadership in the financial world.
